Check-in and check-out is flexible to your needs, we always attempt to accommodate our guest’s requirements. Swain’s Cay Lodge does not provide babysitting services nor are there activities specifically designed for younger children. Sorry, pets are not accommodated.
Package Prices Includes
Accommodation; guided flats fishing; all meals; round trip transfer from Mangrove Cay Airport to the lodge, bottled water, and government room taxes.
Not Included in Package Price
Airfare, Lodge levies; fishing equipment and flies; Bahamian departure tax of $25; gratuities for guides and staff, beverages, miscellaneous personal expenses such as telephone calls, fly shop purchases, etc. Credit Card or cash security deposit is required for incidentals and personal expenses.
We recommend $80 to $100 per day per boat per guide. Guide tips may be given to the guide at the end of each day. We recommend $25 per night per guest for the lodge staff which includes kitchen, bar, grounds, housekeeping. We accept cash and credit cards for settlement.
Deposit, Cancellation & Refund Policy
A deposit of 50% is required to confirm a reservation and is due within 14 days of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
The deposit will be refunded, less an administration fee of $150 if written cancellation is made by 30 days prior to arrival.
Thereafter the individual is responsible for the total land cost and no refund will be made unless client replacement (client’s responsibility) is found. No refund can be made for unused arrangements or fishing time lost due to inclement weather.
For trips cancelled for Covid-19 related reasons (subject to verification)* prior to 30 days the lodge will issue a full refund less administration fee.
For Trips cancelled inside of 30 days, the lodge will offer a full 100% credit valid for one (1) year from the original trip dates (based on availability. refund less administration fee
We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance.
Responsibility & Release of Liability
Participants visiting Swains Cay Lodge must understand that participation in fishing, boating diving and other tour excursions in our dynamic marine environment might be risky/hazardous. Fishermen must understand and accept the risks associated with such activities. Travel schedules to and from the Bahamas can change due to adverse weather, strikes, or other factors beyond our control. This can cause delay and even missed international connections. Such delays could impose additional cost to you in hotels or in changing airline tickets for which we cannot be responsible.
